Just days after Arnold Schwarzenegger visited Graz and presented a bust of his late friend Josef Kriner at the castle, Schwarzenegger has now been spotted partying in Munich. The Hollywood star made an appearance at Oktoberfest on the first day. According to the Münchner Abendzeitung, Schwarzenegger visited owner Sigi Able's Marstall marquee with his girlfriend Heather Milligan. Sitting at the table with him was actress and author Fortune Feimster, who can be seen in the Netflix series FUBAR with Schwarzenegger.
According to the Abendzeitung, the Munich police were also pleased with Schwarzenegger's visit, who took some time for the uniformed officers: “I shook his hand,” says a police officer.
Oktoberfest kicked off at 12 noon on Saturday, September 21. A litre of beer costs between 13.60 and 15.30 euros this year, and you’ll have to pay more than ten euros for ground water – and what many people care about: smoking cannabis in public places is not allowed. But the prices aren’t stopping visitors from coming in droves, and a total of 7.2 million revellers are expected by October 6.
Of course, many celebrities did not miss the opening evening: presenter Thomas Gottschalk and his wife Karina were seen, as well as model and actress Barbara Meyer with her husband Clemens Hallmann, cabaret artist Monika Gruber, and former bachelor and actor Paul Janke.
