It took 108 years, and now SC Austria Lustenau has begun drastic changes in an extraordinary annual general meeting.
For the first time in the club’s history, a supervisory board will be created for the GmbH, as announced by the League Two club in an official broadcast.
Ahmed Shafer will head this body. With former board member Sepp Baer and longtime Austrian sponsor Clemens Walsh, two more members have already been appointed, and more will be added.
25 percent stake in Core Sport Capital
In addition, the Vorarlbergers are intensifying their cooperation with the Swiss company Core Sport Capital, which now owns 25 percent of the shares in SC Austria Lustenau GmbH.
“Services are provided annually in the form of a package as has been the case for the past two years. This package consists of providing players, club management staff and support in the field of exploration or marketing,” he said. Board Spokesperson Bernd Bosch in the presence of CSC President Ahmed Sheffer.
He spoke of the fact that the level of cooperation between Austria and his company is now being raised to a new level. “We will continue to attack. Next year and the year after that. No matter if we achieve it this year.”
