The PS5 has received a number of gadgets in recent years, some of which have been increasingly successful. One of the worst flops was PSVR2. Despite the somewhat weak sales numbers, Sony doesn't seem to want to give up just yet.
PlayStation: Sony introduces new VR games
Virtual reality and gaming don't really mix. The technology isn't new at all, but games still only use one Very small stature. Sony also had to learn this recently with the PSVR2. It wasn't until March 2024 when the PlayStation manufacturer temporarily halted production of the glasses due to not selling enough copies.
PSVR2 owners are now getting at least two new games. While broadcasting the new state of play Skydance's Behemoth And Invasion of the alien rogue Announced – Both are exclusive to VR headsets.
Behemoth from Skydance Games sends you into a snowy fantasy world. You can use different weapons like Swords, bows or daggers Use them to defend yourself against many enemies. The trailer places special emphasis on blocking enemy sword attacks. Meanwhile, you can also use the environment in many places, for example, pushing enemies off the bridge or throwing them into a spike trap. Skydance's Behemoth is scheduled for release in fall 2024.

PSVR2: Alien meets virtual reality
Horror fans who are using PSVR2 can also look forward to a new game. Alien Rogue Incursion takes you back to the famous science fiction world. The trailer doesn't reveal much, but it shows exactly what you think when you hear the words “Alien” and “VR.” So you sneak through the dark corridors of an abandoned spaceship until the xenomorph finally appears. Maybe no one can hear you screaming in space, but they can hear it in your living room. Alien Rogue Incursion is scheduled for release in 2025.

Despite its modest success, Sony So don't forget PSVR 2. In the future, PS5 owners will likely also enjoy the games. Sony is currently working on bringing the gadget to PC.
