The British newspaper wrote that club officials around co-owner David Beckham believe the 35-year-old Argentine will sign with the Major League Soccer club after the World Cup in Qatar. The Times did not cite a source.

There was a presumption that Messi’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires after the current season. He had already made it clear that moving to America might appeal to him too.
