Britney Spears’ long-time lawyer, who represents the American singer in her guardianship dispute, wants to resign from this position. US media reported that Sam Ingham and a Los Angeles law firm filed an application with the court on Tuesday. Promiportal TMZ put court documents online. Accordingly, Angham wants to relieve him of his duties once the court appoints a new lawyer.
The day before, longtime pop star Britney Spears’ manager quit. Larry Rudolph, who has worked with the pop star (“Baby One More Time” and “Toxic”) since the mid-1990s, said he hadn’t spoken to Spears in more than two years. His professional services will not be required.
Ingham has been with Spurs since 2008
Ingham, the attorney, has been siding with Spears since 2008 after the singer broke down mentally due to professional and personal problems, and the court granted custody of her father.
Recently, the controversy over the custody of Spears’ money and personal freedom has come to a head. The 39-year-old had called for an end to guardianship at an emotional court hearing in June. Spears said she felt taken advantage of by her family and managers. She is controlled and cannot define her life. She also said that she wanted to choose her own lawyer.
