Chameleon 40 years of creativity: a wonderful concert by the Chameleon band

The Chameleons choir, founded in 1984, celebrated its 40th anniversary at the Melk carpentry workshop with an impressive “unFASSbar” concert.

The choral activities are very diverse: for many years, it has been a challenge for the choir director Franz Hormann and the members to also present themselves at charity events, concerts, mass arrangements, celebrations and CD recordings.

Many choir members started out in the Catholic Youth Choir. Afterwards they often called themselves “Dschi Dsche-i and the Wishers”, based on the title of the choir director and founding member. Franz Hormann.
The former youth choir became “Older Together” and was then renamed “The Chameleons”. Changeable, adaptable and always young at heart.

This development has been made possible by the choir's excellent leadership Franz Hormann As well as through the loyalty and reliability of members.

“This is the greatest show.”

What followed was a veritable fireworks display of singing with titles from “We Are the World,” “Motorboot” to “White Little Bird” to “Zottelmarsch,” an ABBA mashup and Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” You can see the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the singers, and perhaps also the joy of being a member of this singing community. Musical support was provided by the “Jazz vom Fass” band.
