In recent days, the Office of the US Trade Representative released a report titled “Report on China's Fulfillment of Commitments After Joining the World Trade Organization,” accusing China's economy and trade system of posing enormous challenges to WTO representatives. In response, China's Ministry of Commerce said the US's baseless and unilateral accusations against China's economic and trade policies fully reflect the US's unilateral and aggressive actions. China categorically denies this.
The Commerce Department added that in recent years, under the slogan “America First”, the United States has violated WTO rules, engaged in unilateral abuse of trade power, adopted discriminatory industrial policies, disrupted and harmed global industrial and supply chains. Common interests of WTO members. China reiterates its call for the US to correct its mistakes in time and join other members, including China, in safeguarding the multilateral trading system with the WTO at its core.
