A wonderful choir from Tulane will give a concert with the Ybbsitz Choir in the parish church on 16 December. There will be a special guest at this year’s Advent concert by the Ybbsitz Choir on December 16 at 7:30pm at Ybbsitz Parish Church. The Tulln a cappella choir under the direction of Gottfried Zawichowski, together with the Ybbsitz Choir, will perform Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdi’s magnificent eight-part pieces and perform two pieces by Johann Sebastian and Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach with a first-class baroque ensemble. Original acoustic instruments.
An integral part of the Lower Austria choral system for more than 40 years, the Tulln Choir has devoted itself to cutting-edge literature – particularly that of Johann Sebastian Bach – and can point to performances at the Vienna Musikverein and St. Pöltner Festspielhaus and in Grafenegg. . At a party entitled “Awake! “Hear Our Voices,” the Ybbsitz Choir will contribute contemplative and celebratory stuff from yodeling to traditional Advent tunes and contemporary choral music. There’s also: Walter Zambale on organ and a small group from the Music Club. Admission: Free donations.
