Cockroaches exposed: Court session adjourned
Albany.A crowd of cockroaches has paralyzed a New York state court. At a meeting in Albany City Court on Tuesday, court officials said the dispute arose because a defendant refused to stop filming. Plastic containers containing hundreds of cockroaches brought to the court were opened. The court had to be closed all day due to a destructive move.

A 34-year-old man from the audience was temporarily arrested, management said. He will be charged with obstruction of public administration, disorderly conduct and manipulation of resources.
“What happened was not advocacy or action – it was criminal conduct aimed at disrupting a process and causing harm,” it said.
