There are currently no flood warnings in place for built-up areas in the Free State – except for Passau. However, the flood situation remains tense in some Bavarian areas. According to the HND forecast, the water level in the Rott area near Rohstorf in the Passau district will also rise over the course of Tuesday and head towards level 3. It is not yet certain whether this will be achieved.

All other measuring points in the Upper Palatinate are currently not reporting any reporting level or the maximum reporting level 1, such as rain in Cham or white precipitation in Lohberg in the Cham district. The HND also warns of overburdens and floods in the districts of Regensburg, Cham and Schwandorf, as well as in the city of Regensburg.

For communities along the Alls, such as Altenmarkt north of the confluence of the Alls and the Traun, the situation is still comfortable, as Mayor Stefan Birschneider (CSU) emphasizes. The reason is that the Traun, the most dangerous river during floods, has long since receded again.
