Also this year, Mozarthaus Vienna, a museum owned by Wien Holding, invites children up to 12 years old to participate in the creative competition titled “Mozart’s World of Instruments”.
Fantastic prizes await the winners: among other things, the best work selected by an expert jury will be printed as a Christmas card and sent around the world. All young artists can participate until November 10, 2023.
Mozart’s world of instruments
The 2023 creative competition revolves around the theme “The World of Mozart’s Musical Instruments”. What is Mozart’s favorite musical instrument? What instrument would Mozart like to play today? Mozart not only played the piano excellently, but he also played the violin excellently. What instruments would Mozart like to learn today? Maybe drums or electric guitar? Can the young participants revive a musical genius’s passion for musical instruments through their own artwork?

Drawing, drawing, gluing, cutting or shaping: children can decide for themselves how to approach the topic. Artwork can be created alone, in a team, or with the whole class. There are no limits to the innovation and creativity of all participants. Works of art can be sent to Mozarthaus Vienna electronically or by post.
Participation conditions and closing date
Any artistic medium is allowed. By participating in the competition, the terms are accepted, legal proceedings and cash redemption of prizes are excluded. Works of art are handled with the greatest care, and Mozarthaus Vienna does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to works of art. Winners will be notified and invited to attend the awards ceremony in December 2023.
