Cross-country skier Teresa Stadeloper climbed to seventh place at the end of the Tour de Ski. In the hill climb to Alpe Cermis, the Salzburg woman clocked the ninth fastest time on Tuesday. With Natalia Nebragywa, the overall win went to Rossi for the first time. The final stage of the steep ski slope in the Fiemme Valley was secured by Norwegian Heidi Weng, who came third in the Tour classification behind Swede Ebba Andersson.
In the men’s class, Norway’s Johannes Hosflut Klaipow won the Tour skating for the second time after 2019. His compatriot Sjør Rot took the day’s victory, while Klaibow finished fifth in the final section, trailing just over half a minute.
For Stadlober, the first highlight of the season went better than expected. After a mixed and chilly opening season in the lead-up to the game, the 28-year-old started with poor expectations. Aside from the two unpopular headshots, she did well with two sixths, seventh place and a good finish. “Now I’m really happy that I was able to finish the Tour in seventh place. I would have never thought of that with my difficult preparation. It was a great tour, and I must also thank my team, who did a fantastic job,” said Stadlober after the ‘brutal’ final stage. .
