Bielefeld, Düsseldorf On a Saturday in mid-February, an emeritus judge in Munster County Court expressed his outrage. In an email to the judge presiding over the Onecoin trial, he wrote that he has applied to serve on a jury to broaden his horizons. “If I had known what I was doing, I would definitely not have made that decision.” The course of the operation and its own circumstances are “extremely unsatisfactory for all parties”.

The operation is scheduled to start again in mid-August this year. “The evidence taken so far must be repeated,” the court said.
