From concerts to festivals, from fine arts to readings. It is a land of musicians and writers, historically conscious people and futuristic thinkers, celebrities and cultural connoisseurs. And 2024 European Capital of Culture and Anton Bruckner's Anniversary Year.

Although Upper Austria has a colorful landscape, the artistic and cultural scene is equally colorful. Here, living habits are more important than anywhere else. The Bruckner Orchestra's music festivals and centers as well as the annual Bruckner Festival in Linz make the composer a prominent figure in Upper Austria. In addition, Brucknerhaus Linz, the private Anton Bruckner University and St. Florianer Brucknertage is an exceptional artist, one of the five most performed symphony players in the world.
