Culture – Konzerthaus: the almost unknown Figaro and the terrible Gruffalo

On November 4th, at 7.30pm, the Concilium musicum Vienna will perform the almost unknown version of Le Nozze de Figaro’s opera string quartet. Florian Teichtmeister leads through a libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte with clear texts, thus allowing a forgotten piece of early 19th century European opera culture to come back to life in the early 21st century.
