In the fall of 2019, they developed the idea of designing five Zwickel days a year as home office days in order to be contemporary and resource-efficient and to provide an extra commute for those staying at the boarding school for just one day. Teachers were trained, students were asked about their technical potential and improved, an accurate project description was created for the education department, approval was obtained – thank you very much – and teaching was practiced on a common school platform. The coronavirus shutdown has prevented digital initiatives. But the students were able to greet their teachers on screens from day one and learn effortlessly – because they were already practicing.
