The entire Austria tennis team is still awaiting Dominic Thiem’s decision regarding a possible surgery on his injured wrist.
The 28-year-old from Lower Austria had originally announced that he would take a stress test on Monday, October 4, and then announced the decision on a possible intervention.
When will be announced the result of this test is still open. Cosmos, the Spanish management company that Tim has been contracting with since last June, announced Monday afternoon that he will speak about his decision at a press conference next Monday.

Without surgery, Thiem could start training again in November so he can return to the Australian Open in mid-January. If Tim has to go under the knife, he won’t be able to start training again until February or March 2022.
