Duchess Meghan calls for voting in the United States

Duchess Meghan today called on Americans to vote in the US midterm elections. On the website of the Archewell Foundation, founded by Meghan and British son Prince Harry, 38, she posted a photo of her on Election Day wearing a round “I voted” label on her jacket. These posters are distributed after voting at polling stations.

Additionally, the California native posted an election call with many practical tips, such as how to find the right polling station and things to have with you.

Ahead of the US presidential election in 2020, the couple called on residents to vote in a joint video message. Prince Harry stated at the time that he could not vote without US citizenship and did not do so in England either. Royals are usually neutral and traditionally don’t vote.

Harry and Meghan separated from the British royal family in March 2020 and renounced their royal duties. They have been living in California with their children Archie (3) and Lilipt (1) for some time.
