After a long wait, Techland finally released Dying Light 2: Stay Human in February. About two months later, the studio is now officially naming the sales numbers.
Techland is expected to release a zombie sequel Dying Light 2: Stay Human Rest assured it was finally released in early February 2022. After a bit of delay, official sales figures covering the period up to February 28, 2022 – thus roughly the first month of sales, have now been submitted.
In this time window alone, Dying Light 2 has wandered over the counter five million times. It’s been some time since then, and in the press release, Techland at least continues to stress that those numbers have continued to increase every month so far. This is also why one talks about “bull’s eye” in connection with the sequel.
“The success of the Dying Light Series is a great example of the unforgettable experiences we are creating for our players,” Techland CEO Paul Marchuka said in a statement about the sales figures.
Aside from the sales numbers, the creators are also pleased with the mostly positive comments on the title on the popular Steam platform. Some new content will follow in the coming days – other “interesting announcements” are also planned. We will of course keep you updated on this.
