With Shadow of the Erdtree, From Software is currently enjoying great success once again. No wonder, after all, that the main game Elden Ring has already been more than successful. But of course not all modifications worked with the expansion. Now the developer of one of the most popular fan mods has provided good news.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree may not be perfect, but that doesn't stop the expansion from being a huge success. Just a few days after its release, according to Bandai Namco, it broke the impressive mark of five million sales worldwide. This value is especially strong given the fact that many players on Steam complained about the performance and difficulty level. But clearly the dissatisfaction has not affected the title, even if From Software has adjusted the balance with a patch.

But despite all the praise and criticism, one thing is certain: if you want smooth, uncomplicated co-op, you don't even need to touch Shadow of the Erdtree. At least for now, because the Seamless Coop mod has been given an update that includes expansion support.

LukeYui posted this for the main game in 2022, which he says theoretically allows you to play through Elden Ring in one sitting. So you won’t be sent home after you die or defeat a boss anymore. So if the bosses in Shadow of the Erdtree are giving you trouble and you’re running out of items to call for help, this mod could be your salvation.

In addition to DLC support, LukeYui added some other things and of course also fixed bugs. According to him, Shadow of the Erdtree is now fully playable using the mod, but it's not perfect yet.

The patch notes are as follows:

• Compatibility with Elden Ring v1.12, including Shadow of the Erdtree DLC
• Completely rewrite the code; Some old bugs (such as enemies falling to the ground) no longer occur
• Items earned in conversations are now awarded to all players
• Event flags are now synchronized correctly
• Enemy scaling options added.
• The number of player deaths is now an option for the player logo
• You have the option to view the current session password within the game.
• Compatibility with ModEngine 2
• Matchmaking Verification: Only people with the same mods will be able to contact each other
