Deep Silver and its 4A Games subway displacement (from 14,99€ in to buy) was released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The “Gen 9” version should run in “4K with 60 fps” with continuous ray tracing lighting (Ray Traced Global Illumination and Ray Traced Emissive Lighting) on PS5 and Xbox Series X – Although a press release elsewhere of “up to 4K” and “up to 60 frames per second” is the talk. On Xbox Series S, 1080p is targeted at 60 fps with ray tracing.
Next-gen apps offer lower load times, feature 4K textures, provide a field-of-view slider and a number of platform-specific features, including improvements to spatial audio and console latency on Xbox, as well as support for haptic functionality for the Dual-Sense-Controllers. on PlayStation 5. The improvements are available to all “Generation 8” owners (PS4, PS4 Pro and Xbox One S/X) as a free upgrade or via the new Metro Exodus Complete Edition. The physical “Metro Exodus Complete Edition” contains the base game and expansions The Two Colonels and Sam’s Story.
