Ferrari’s new managing director
Ferrari has appointed a new CEO. Benedetto Vigna is the name of the man who will take over as interim General Manager John Elkann effective September 1st. Elkann took over the position temporarily after Louis Camilleri resigned from his position in December for personal reasons.
Vigna, 52, is currently head of the Analog Group, MEMS and Sensors for STMicroelectronics and also a member of Ferrari’s board of directors.
“It is a special honor to join Ferrari as Managing Director. I will approach this with both joy and responsibility. Joy at the great opportunities that will be exploited. Responsibility for the extraordinary successes and skills of Ferrari’s men and women, partners and everyone in the world represents for him Ferrari a unique passion.”
