FESTival am Steinertor – Run on festival tickets in Krems: 800 tickets went in 12 minutes

Pull the names “Pizzera & Jaus” and “Sportfreunde Stiller”. Those twelve minutes after tickets go on sale www.steinertor.at 800 tickets have already been sold, but the team of organizers around Osman Seidel and Sebastian Strebel, who handles online sales with his newly founded company, may not have expected that themselves. As of Tuesday, nearly half of all tickets for “FESTival am Steinertor” on May 27 and 28 are booked. About 3,200 visitors are expected to visit the site at Südtirolerplatz each day.

There was a great deal of planning work behind the big event, which until this year was known as Krems Spring Music. “After ‘Sern’ and ‘Silbermond’ it has of course been difficult to improve again. We are limited in terms of space and therefore also constrained in terms of budget. I am much happier,” says Seidl, who also hopes to gain “widespread momentum” for the whole city. We can offer our guests two important advantages.”
