Find family-friendly projects as part of Felix Familia 2024

s. The State of Upper Austria, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Upper Austria and the Association of Industrialists of Upper Austria as well as in cooperation with Tips and OÖNachrichten, invites all Upper Austria companies to participate in Felix Familia 2024.

Compatibility between family and work is becoming increasingly important. Needs-based part-time working models, company-owned play areas, holiday care, special maternity leave models and many other measures help facilitate the combination of family and work. We are looking for innovative and exemplary projects that can inspire other businesses to become more family friendly. “The family-conscious HR policy not only improves the working atmosphere, but also increases the performance and commitment of employees in the company. As a family representative, I look forward to learning about family-friendly projects from your company,” said the family representative, deputy governor of the state. Manfred Heimbuchner.

Submitting projects

From now on, businesses of all sizes, public and non-profit companies/institutions with creative and innovative projects can do so exclusively online until January 22, 2024. www.familienkarte.at, in the form of a project description with meaningful images. The project can be submitted in three categories depending on the number of employees in the company: first category – companies with up to 20 employees, second category – companies with 21 – 100 employees and third category – companies with 101 or more employees. The best three projects in each category will be selected.

Prizes for the winners

The winner in each category receives a cash prize of €2,000 plus a bronze statuette “Felix Familia” as a non-cash prize. The second or third placed company in each category will receive a bonus of €1,500 and €1,000 respectively.

The companies that perform best in the state competition have the opportunity to apply for the 2024 Family and Career State Award.
