Now there’s the first trailer for the remake of the ’80s cult horror movie “Witchboard – Die Hexenfalle” and it confirms what we already suspected about the casting. The casting of the lead actor seems to have been done very well.
The first trailer for “Witchboard” should delight fans of Jamie Campbell Bower. Because the actor, who last made a strong impression as the villain Vecna in “Stranger Things,” plays a mysterious occultist and can turn really bad at Liberty. The role seems tailor-made for the actor, who was also seen as a young Grindelwald in the “Harry Potter” films.
The story also focuses on Christian (Aaron Dominguez) and Emily (Madison Iseman). The new couple wants to open a coffee shop in New Orleans. In the process, Emily finds a witch’s painting with her name on it, which causes evil forces to take over it. In distress, her fiancé, Christian, turns to the mysterious occultist Alexandre-Baptiste (Campbell Bauer). But can this be trusted? At least wizard witches will appear on the scene soon…
Free remake of “Witchboard” by a veteran director
