Bauer Media Group is expanding its management team from three to four members. It also means a change: the media company has announced that Austrian publishing director Witt Dingler (Chief Operations Officer) will leave the group at the end of the year. He was responsible for transforming the company for nearly four years. According to the announcement, the co-founder of NEOS has decided to say goodbye because he wants to take on new challenges.
2018 started
Veit Dengler started at Bauer Media Group in April 2018 after being replaced as CEO of NZZ (Neue Zürcher Zeitung) in June 2017. Now Bauer’s new management team (Executive Board) looks like this: In addition to publisher and managing director Yvonne Bauer, it will remain Anna Sedgley is the Finance Officer (CFO). The director came to Bauer Media Group in May. New on the management team are Paul Keenan, who was previously in charge of the sound department and took over as Denglers (COO), and Gerald May for the legal department (chief legal officer). He has been with the media group since 2006.
Bauer Media Group’s globally active portfolio includes the titles “Cosmopolitan”, “TV Movie” and “Tina”.
