Interval training based on heart rate
Is this America’s next big fitness trend?
If you are looking for effective training that can get you everything from a 60-minute unit, you can find it in this trend workout in USA.
Interval training – especially high-intensity interval training (HIIT) – has been an integral part of fitness studios and digital sports platforms for many years. Orange Fitness, Trend Workout of America, combines this method with a specific heart rate to enhance the training effect. The workout should be accessible to all fitness levels, while getting the most out of each person.
In its North American homeland, Orange has been popular for many years and has trained in more than 1,300 studios in the United States and Canada. And this special HIIT training is finding more and more followers in Germany.
What is the Orange Theory?
The name Archeology is based on five different heartbeat zones that we can move during training: relaxed, easy, challenging, uncomfortable and “all out”, i.e. the most difficult zone. Each zone is assigned a color. The goal of this fitness concept is to spend 12 to 20 minutes during the one-hour workout in the orange zone, i.e. the uncomfortable zone.
This will boost your metabolism and burn more fat. The trainer guides the athlete to different levels of heart rate during the exercise and uses the data measured by the fitness supervisor to tell them when they can push harder and when to retreat slightly.
At Orange Cheetah, sports fans train in three areas: first on rowing machines to improve endurance and strength. For the cardio area, there are bicycles or treadmills, and then you can target and strengthen the muscles between weights and floor exercises. Training takes place in small groups, alternating between each area.
What does trend training bring?
Training based on the scientific concept of heart rate zones from the United States. High-intensity exercise activates the metabolism and burns energy for up to 36 hours. Scientifically one is talking about increased EPOC, which refers to “excessive post-exercise oxygen consumption”.
During exercise, athletes should burn 500 to 1,000 calories – depending on gender, weight and training level. The post-burn effect is said to be wasting another 200 to 400 calories.
There are currently only two orange studios in Germany, one in Hamburg and the other in L லbeck. Prices vary depending on the studio and training sessions.
