The Klambach River carried huge amounts of water near the Sturmmühle. The basement had to be pumped out and the bridge destroyed.
Saxony, Baumgartenberg. An intensive pumping operation was carried out on Sunday morning during a local inspection by MeinBezirk Perg in Sturmmühle on the municipal border between Baumgartenberg and Saxony. The reason: The Klambach River carried huge amounts of water and burst its banks, flooding the basement of a house. But that's not all: The raging current also washed away the footbridge leading to the Landleben open-air amusement park. It is feared that the dam system has also suffered something.

serious damage
Owner Ernst Grillenberger brought the empty mill back to life years ago – with apartments, a museum and a hostel. He expects severe flood damage. In his opinion, the water needs more space in the area of the bridge on Sachsner Strasse.
30 year flood
The highest level at the Sturmühle/Klambach measuring point was 4.53 metres just after midnight on Saturday night into Sunday – this is above the 30-year flood event value (4.35 metres). The level then dropped slightly before rising again to over 4 metres on Sunday afternoon and Monday evening.
