Football: Union Adluang wins the fall championship title

For the first time in the club’s history, it won the fall championship title

In the First Division East there was a match between Union Adlwang and SV Sierning in the last autumn round. Last year they were in exactly the same situation, if they had won the last game they would have won the fall championship, but at that time Cerning turned out to be a party wrecker. So the Kirtagkickers went into this match with great motivation. Both teams were missing some key players due to injuries. The match was initially equal and saw only a few scoring opportunities. In the 22nd minute, Serninger’s best chance came when Muttenthaler shot from a relatively narrow angle, but the ball went wide of the goal. Just four minutes later, the visitors had another chance to take the lead, but that chance too was wasted. In the 32nd minute of the match, Adlwanger scored a goal, after a corner kick from Ivan Puskaric, which Tony Dramak headed into the net to make the score 1-0. Just six minutes later, there was another Hovarina goal celebration, and after a misunderstanding between Lomitzberger and goalkeeper Noel, the ball rolled into the goal to make it 2-0.
