McLaren is back from fall break! The engines will finally roar again in Formula 1 next weekend (October 20). The group around Lando Norris will want to do everything in their power to make Britain world champions in the final few metres.
In addition to the sporting aspects, Formula 1 is above all else: a tough business. It's about revenue, deals and marketing. McLaren will make the announcement ahead of the trip to Austin.
The Papaya Racing team has found a new sponsor, which is tailored for its upcoming races in the United States. As McLaren announced, they are now working with T-Mobile, the international subsidiary of German Telecom.

According to a statement from the racing team, the partnership is apparently aimed at the United States. Matt Dennington, head of sponsorship for the Formula 1 team, said: “It's great to help us increase our presence in these regions.
Special stamp for USA
A visible effect for all spectators: McLaren has a special stamp especially for racing in Texas, but also in Las Vegas. T-Mobile won't be the only sponsor of Norris and Oscar Piastre's cars.
Accordingly, the McLaren team will also be equipped with T-Mobile headsets. This type of branding will continue in the coming years whenever the racing series visits the United States. With three races now in Miami, Austin and Las Vegas, it's almost worth it.
Formula 1: A thrilling title battle?
McLaren could certainly put the proceeds to good use, but it's what happens on the race track that matters. Norris is currently 52 points behind Max Verstappen. But Red Bull was significantly weaker in the last races.
