A new leak may have announced the Fortnite Chapter 6 release date ahead of time. Is there a much-needed first-person mode too?
You can still enjoy Fortnite: Chapter 5, but the next chapter is already taking its toll. While Chapter 2 is expected to return as part of a four-week Fortnite OG cycle, the game’s next major redesign is set to happen at the end of the year with Chapter 6.
If you believe the leaker JorgeMost, Chapter 6 in Fortnite will start on December 1, 2024. Revealing the relevant information on the social media service, the corresponding skins related to New Jeans can also be expected to appear on December 1.
What gives this leak even more ground is the fact that it was picked up and further posted by Shiina – one of the most well-known and reliable insiders and leakers in the Fortnite scene. Shiina even added that Chapter 6 will bring with it a new swinging mechanic – and also the much-needed first-person mode.
Sheena says the aforementioned first-person mode should be added to the UEFN engine in a similar timeframe — which would eventually give Epic Games the opportunity to bring this first-person mode to the long-running battle royale segment. Will it finally happen?
In advance, the fifth chapter of the fourth season should be done first; this season is scheduled to start on August 16, 2024 and will feature new Marvel collaborations. Among other things – on the occasion of the film – the focus will be on Deadpool and Wolverine, but there will be other Marvel superheroes to discover.
