Forza Horizon 5 is one of the most successful Xbox games ever – and the open-world racer has proven that once again. Originally released in 2021, the game has now reached a milestone years after its release.

The title has an in-game counting mechanism to see how many players have played the title so far – this recently jumped to over 40 million players. The title from Playground Games and Microsoft is still seeing significant growth almost three years after its launch.

Earlier this year, Xbox announced that Forza Horizon 5 had surpassed 37 million players. About five months later, another 3 million players had played the racing game.
