Frontal collision between a car and a motorcycle in Feldkirch – 15-year-old injured – Feldkirch

On Sunday, April 23, 2023, at approximately 4:45 p.m., a 48-year-old man drove his motorized rickshaw across Neue Freschnerstraße in the direction of Oberfresch. At the same time, a 63-year-old drove behind a rickshaw, also on Neue Freschnerstraße in the direction of Oberfresch.

The 48-year-old stopped at a dumpster on the right-hand side of the road, at which point the motorized rickshaw was overtaken by the rear driver. The 15-year-old, who was riding his motorcycle on Neue Freschnerstraße in the direction of Nofels at the same time, could no longer avoid being overtaken.

This resulted in a head-on collision between the 63-year-old driver and the motorcyclist. The 15-year-old received first aid from a rescue and emergency doctor and was subsequently taken to Feldkirch Regional Hospital with unspecified injuries. The cars sustained frontal damage.
