In 2021, former health insurance psychologist Gabriele Kastner left Gmund and handed over her work to Thomas Halmitschlager – who, reportedly, left Gmund for Vienna in 2023. But what has happened to Gabriele Kastner since then? “Although I have given up my job as a clinical psychodiagnostic under a health insurance contract in the Gmünd region, I now continue to work in my second job as a psychotherapist in the field of psychodrama and trauma and as a supervisor on professional and training-related issues,” says Gabriel Kastner.
For this purpose she works in the Zoetel Monastery and in the meantime also in a second clinic in Vienna. The Vienna clinic is located right next to the Franz Josef Train Station, so clients from Waldviertel can reach it easily as well. At the age of 50, Gabrielle Kastner began learning to play the piano, which she enjoys. She also sings in a small choir and is happy with her two grandchildren who live in Vienna.
