Gemini Live, Google's AI assistant, is now available in more than 40 languages, including German and French for the first time. This extension makes it possible to conduct conversations in your own language and use Gemini's various functions extensively. Users also have a choice between ten different voices to customize the Assistant.
The special thing about Gemini Live: the opportunity to have natural conversations – almost like a dialogue with a friend. Whether you're discussing ideas, preparing presentations, or coordinating daily tasks, talking with Gemini is made easy with voice control and requires no typing.
One particularly practical function is the integration of other Google applications. For example, Gemini Live can look up a lasagna recipe from Gmail, record ingredients in notes at the same time and enter appropriate times to shop directly into the calendar. Or request a concert flyer, check the date on the calendar and create a reminder to purchase a ticket. In the future, Google also plans to make Gemini Live multilingual on devices – conversations can then be conducted in up to two languages at the same time.
