In the future, the advertising marketer and Airport Media will cooperate in the marketing of digital advertising screens at Vienna Airport.

Goldbach Austria GmbH comprises Goldbach Audience Austria and Goldbach Media Austria, two companies that work closely together in screen media marketing (online, mobile, TV, advanced TV, digital TV out of home).

New collaboration

For the marketing of digital advertising screens, Vienna Airport now relies on the expertise, experience and contacts of Goldbach Austria. The prominent locations are to be integrated into a separate DOOH airport channel, which currently has 220 screens in 14 high-frequency locations in the airport area. Depending on whether you want to address business customers, non-Schengen or Schengen passengers, 13 packages are available in the business lounge, as well as in the arrival or departure areas, in varying degrees and for a period of one to two weeks.

“Approaching passengers at the airport is more efficient than at almost any other airport. Because nowhere else do you have a holiday and shopping mood like here. The target group also has a higher than average purchasing power,” says Markus Zenn of DOOH, who is responsible for the marketing portfolio.

Different target groups

In addition to the core target groups of business and leisure travellers, the people who can be reached at the airport also include those picking up passengers, attendants and airport staff. Advertising spaces include a variety of eye-catching formats with light boxes and vertical format billboards, large-scale video walls and large-scale digital installations such as the Mega Wall as well as 144 synchronised advertising screens in the central baggage claim hall.

“Vienna Airport and AirportCity offer a wide range of advertising options with a target-specific approach and state-of-the-art technology, such as the Mega Wall in Terminal 3 or the SkyBridge at the airport entrance. With Goldbach Austria we have a strong partner with whom we can better establish Vienna Airport as an advertising location,” says Wolfgang Scheppenpflug, Head of Property and Location Management at Flughafen Wien AG.

“Anyone who wants to reach their target groups in the best possible way has come to the right place with Airport Media: We offer highly innovative advertising spaces directly in the area of interest of passengers, those who pick up passengers and airport visitors. Goldbach Austria is an excellent partner for us, as we can serve advertising clients even better with our range of services,” says Ilse Koenig, Head of Airport Media.

In total, Goldbach DOOH’s portfolio, including the new locations at Vienna Airport, currently includes more than 9,000 screens in 1,368 locations.
