An adventure from the Schloss Schönborn Golf Club to Namu Charmini will begin next week. He will travel to the United States and at the age of 19 he will receive an athletic scholarship from the Florida Gulf Coast University (FCGU) in Fort Myers.
After successfully completing two tests, he has been studying there since January. The primary goal is not sport, but rather the possibility of combining training and golf focuses on Charmini. “The reason I go to America is because I definitely want to graduate. Anyway, let’s see how I progress in the game of golf, ”he explained. “But of course, considering the importance there and the training conditions there, I hope to develop myself further there.”
Zoe Vartyan is already living the dream
For Joe Vardian, the dream of studying in the United States has already come true. The 20-year-old, based in GC Schloss Schönborn, is studying at Central University of Michigan in the state of Michigan, where he is currently in a non-competitive period.
Still, she never gets bored. In addition to his studies and training, he is currently working on a research project in a psychology laboratory. Vardian spends Christmas in Austria. “I will continue to train and work a little on my technique, but take a break and go skiing,” he said.
