Sotogrande – Saturday, October 16, 2021, 11:19 pm
Bernd Fisberger reached first place in the Andalusia Masters, taking home €3 million in Sotogrande.
The eight-time European Tour winner runs Round 68 on transition day and advances to fourth thanks to Eagle for first place. Weissberger lacks five strokes on England lead Laurie Kanter, but only two on fellow second-placed Matt Patrick.
Matthias Schwab enters the final day on day 21 after Round 70. In addition to Wiesberger, who was twice below par after three rounds, Styrian also has a good chance of making a solid final score in the amazing and coveted Real Club Valderrama thanks to his improvement of 13 places to two places a foot equality.
Schwab said, “Today conditions were just as good as yesterday. My game was strong with a few ‘ups and downs.’ I’m satisfied with the place at the moment. Tomorrow could be another good day,” Schwab hopes. Journey from the PGA Tour over.
