Goldsmith Seebaker moved

Goldsmith Anita Seebacher has had a new location since November 2019. She can now be found in the center of Altaussee in the former building of Johanna Scheichl (gsund & fesch) (= Dangl – House), which offers the master goldsmith more space to produce and display her jewelry. Her diverse offerings range from design, production, reworking and repair of jewelry to the production of various pins or badges to the design of sacred art objects. For the skilled goldsmith, the top priority is individuality and perfect workmanship. Anita is looking forward to visiting her new workplace.

My goldsmithing business

My work at the goldsmith shop is varied. It ranges from Designsproduction, re-formulation and repair Pieces of jewelryAbout different production Thingssuch as pins or club badges all the way to design and production. sacred art objectsIn line with my philosophy of “using old technology to create new designs – traditionally and individually tailored to the client”, uniqueness and exquisite craftsmanship are my top priorities.

A particular challenge was the order from the Diocese of Unterlamm to design and make a crown and sceptre for the figure of Saint Henry.

One of the highlights is of course my masterpiece, a brooch that can be turned into a necklace in a few simple steps.

In the gallery you will find a selection of my works:
>> Jewelry (Necklaces, pendants, rings, bracelets, brooches, …)
>> Sacred Art (Decoration of images of saints, reliquaries,…)
>> Things (pins, club badges, lucky charms, …)

jewelry

My philosophy in the workshop is: to use old technology to create new designs – traditionally and individually tailored to the client.

Before I make a piece of jewelry, I try to find out the client's wishes through conversation. This is followed by the creation of one or more sketches that are presented to the client for evaluation and selection. Only then do I start working in the jeweler's shop. In addition to making new pieces of jewelry, my services also include repairs and redesigns.

In the gallery you will find a selection of jewelry pieces, most of which are made according to the wishes of individuals.

sacred art

A special challenge for me is to create sacred art pieces.

The most sought-after piece so far is the crown with rubies, opals, tanzanites, tourmalines, garnets, fire opals and pearls, which I was able to create for the figure of St. Henry in the church in Unterlamm. The parish of Unterlamm belongs to the deanery of Feldbach in eastern Styria. The local priest Franz Brey was able to obtain a relic of St. Henry (a piece of bone from the skullcap). This relic is beautifully placed in a small box, which in turn is located in the box of the carved figure of the saint.

Saint Henry II was descended from the Dukes of Bavaria, and became King of Germany in 1002 and Emperor in 1014. He secured external and internal peace for his empire, promoted ecclesiastical reforms and founded numerous monasteries. He died on 13 July 1024 and was buried in Bamberg Cathedral.
