Halo Infinite: Is there another DLC campaign coming? Developer comments!

Halo Infinite has been available for two years now and parts of the community have been eagerly awaiting new supplies for the campaign. Is this really coming? The developers at 343 Industries have now commented on this.

Unfortunately, anyone waiting for a new DLC campaign for Halo Infinite will have to be strong, as it appears 343 Industries isn’t planning one for the action game. At least that’s what a new statement from community manager Brian “Ske7ch” Jarrard suggests, who has now addressed the issue in order to clear it up once and for all.

On Kinda Funny Games’ Xcast podcast, Garrard was there to talk and discuss several topics related to Halo Infinite. Regarding potential DLC for the campaign, he said without much room for interpretation: “I’ll be honest: We have nothing to announce today in terms of any campaign content for Halo Infinite. I’ll even go one step further and tell you here that we’re working on it.” We don’t have anything in development up front.”

Obviously, new single-player content is no longer expected on the Halo Infinite campaign front. Instead, 343 Industries is more focused on “continuing to improve the multiplayer product.”

Above all, we can expect more multiplayer content for Halo Infinite from 343 Industries in the future. The studio recently released Firefight: King of the Hill for the game. According to Garrard, the development studio could at least offer new PvE modes via Forge in the future. Right now, the best chances for a new story campaign in the Halo universe are likely to be an entirely new game in the series.
