Champions League
As one of the best clubs in the world, FC Bayern Munich has always enjoyed great international attention. The Munich club has a huge fan base and is even the largest sports club in the world with over 316,000 members.
Bayern news is published regularly in all major football countries. In England, home of the world's strongest league, interest in the record German champion is traditionally high.
Since England captain Harry Kane moved to Munich last summer – followed by Eric Dier from Tottenham in the winter – many fans have been looking closely at Germany.
After every Bayern match in the Champions League, Kane answers questions from British journalists. This was also the case after the match against Lazio Roma, which Thomas Tuchel's side won 3-0 on Tuesday.
But this time, Harry Kane and Jamie Carragher, a former national player and respected TV pundit, performed very well.
Bayern: Harry Kane embarrasses TV expert Carragher
After the match, Harry Kane was questioned by the CBS panel of experts. Broadcaster Kate Abdo asked Kane at the beginning of the interview if it was true that Carragher had spoken to him on the phone during the week.
“This is a mistake,” Keane explained, prompting fellow experts Thierry Henry and Micah Richards, who were present, to burst out laughing. Carragher then intervened and said to Kane: “Don't do this to me! I told everyone in America that we are friends and have a good relationship!”
Ken admitted what happened in the studio with a smile. “We're friends,” he told Carragher, then clarified: “But you know I don't lie on TV.”

Bayern Munich: Kane talks about a possible turning point
After the win over Roma's Lazio, Bayern, who have recently come under heavy criticism, gave themselves some breathing room. The fact that they managed to reach the Champions League quarter-finals despite a 1-0 defeat in the first leg is largely thanks to Kane. The 30-year-old contributed two goals on Tuesday evening.
“Nights like this can change the season,” Kane said after the exciting win in front of the home fans. “This could be a turning point for the rest of the season.”
If Bayern really want to salvage their poor season, they must now make one last real attempt. Kane in particular will be in demand: thanks to his numerous goals and extensive experience, the Englishman plays a key role in Thomas Tuchel's team.
