Canadian singer Celine Dion has canceled part of her world tour due to ongoing health issues. “I really wish I could feel good enough to go now but I think I just need to be patient,” the singer wrote on Twitter yesterday. Concerts in North America should therefore be canceled from the World Courage Tour.
After a hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, Dion was originally scheduled to resume her world tour in November 2021 with a series of shows in Las Vegas. However, these were canceled in October. The 53-year-old explained at the time that she was experiencing “dangerous and persistent muscle cramps”. Therefore, the continuation of the tour was postponed to March. Within two months, Dion wanted to perform in 16 cities across the United States and Canada.
According to Dion, he is sticking with plans for the European part of his tour. Shows are set to begin on May 25 with a concert in Birmingham, England. Concerts are also planned in several German cities in June and July. “I would be very happy to be back in full health plus we are all beating this pandemic,” Dion wrote, thanking her fans for their support.
