RTL wants to increasingly establish itself as a family broadcaster in the future. That is why the new members of the juries of “Das Supertalent” and “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” were contacted early on, and Dieter Bohlen (67) will have to find a new place for his bad slogans in the future. Instead, Florian Silbereisen, 39, is now supposed to create a new atmosphere in the selection of stars, while soccer star Lukas Podolski, 36, will sit behind the jury in the “Supertalent” case.
According to Bild newspaper, many prominent names were asked about the programmes, but most of them gave the station a chance. Including Silbereisen’s ex-girlfriend Helen Fischer (36). She was offered a position on the “DSDS” jury, but was canceled due to other plans.
Grönemeyer also canceled
Herbert Grunmeyer, 65, was also talking about the job. He also gave the announcer a basket. Instead, Dutch singer Ilse DeLange (44) and music producer Toby Gad (53) sat alongside Silbereisen on the “DSDS” jury.
A seat on the jury is also planned for Veronica Ferris (56) in Supertalent. But she wants to focus on her career in front of a movie camera and is currently filming in the USA. In addition to Podolski, Dutch presenter Chantal Janzen (42) – who directed the “European Song Contest” in 2021 – and fashion designer Michael Michalski (54) will evaluate various talents.
Barack Obama does not want to be interviewed
But in addition to the RTL show, there has been a lot of searching for new faces. In the talk show area, Johannes B. Kerner, 56, and Marcus Lanz, 52, have their own shows. The show wasn’t exciting enough for either of them.
Radio Cologne officials also asked former US President Barack Obama to make a special television show. This year he should be available to answer questions at the big summer interview. It is alleged that an application addressed to current US Vice President Kamala Harris, 56, is still pending.
Despite many rejections: the list shows that RTL is sparing no effort in refactoring. Time will tell if the reorganization pays off. (IMH)
