Hilton Head – Fri 04/15/2022 8:50 PM
Sepp Straka retains his first PGA Tour Hilton Head golf position (average $71/8 million) after the second round.
After a double bogey and two two-stroke victories, the 28-year-old Austrian-American is level and, as an early starter, is fifth with an overall five-under-par, just two strokes behind the leader.
Matthias Schwab, on the other hand, should accept a setback with a round of 74 and fall back with 1 below par.
Schwab falls from 10th to 50th. After two planes over the first four holes, Styrian has to accept five stroke losses.
However, his extra weekend engagement does not appear to be in jeopardy. Most of the field has not yet completed the second round.
