DrSwedish fashion giant H&M pulled its current Justin Bieber collection on Tuesday, following heavy criticism from the pop star. An H&M spokesperson said the company has removed the clothing “from our stores and online out of respect for the collaboration and for Justin Bieber”. Agence France-Presse.
Bieber previously described the collection sold under his name as “trash,” the singer explained on Instagram. “Don’t buy it,” he added. He confirmed that he did not endorse any part of the H&M group. Bieber has around 270 million followers on the social network.
The textile company withdrew the group, but opposed Pepper’s version: “As with all licensed products and partnerships, H&M has followed proper approval procedures,” the spokesperson said.
The collection included sweatshirts, T-shirts, phone accessories and a tote bag featuring the 28-year-old musician’s photo (“What Do You Mean?”). H&M has been working with Bieber for several years.
