nAfter a break due to the pandemic, the Hohenruppersdorf Music Association amazed listeners with its spring concert. Kapellmeister Anita Lackner has come up with a diverse program.
From classical brass to the music of Johann Strauss to film music from Police Adademy and Winnetou – all types of music were on offer for music lovers at this spring concert. With her usual professional hand, band director Anita Lackner led the music club through the concert. The audience rewarded the conductor's commitment with a standing ovation and did not want to let the musicians leave the stage even after two encores.
Board Chairman Walter Doppler welcomed BAG President Herbert Schmid and ÖVP Mayor Hermann Gendel among the guests. Youth speaker Manuel Wagner praised the collaboration with St. Barbara's School of Music. While eleven children were registered for music lessons in 2019, the number of learners this year reached 34. This should ensure that the club has young talent. Heidi Lackner and Anna Storr led the program.
Sabrina Lackner has been a Silver Medal of Honor recipient for 25 years. Doppler presented a bouquet of flowers to the homeowner, Mira Seeger, as thanks for her cooperation.
