One of Digit-One’s primary tasks was to carefully and appropriately translate the company’s brand values into the digital world. The team deliberately opted for restrained animation and used parallax cloud edges during unit transitions to give the products and categories the illusion of floating. The color scheme is light to further emphasize the lightness of the brand. Since Darbo has a distinctive style, the product images speak for themselves and are widely used. They present Darbo’s delicious dishes so perfectly that you will want to try them right away. In order to differentiate between the B2C and B2B areas, a “dark mode” with a dark beige color is used.
In addition, the entire product range had to be accessible to both B2C and B2B target groups, and all content had to be translated into a seamless user journey. With new content – for example, recipe ideas that match products or filterable search – Digit-One improved the entire user experience, added a common theme, and thus increased time spent on individual pages.
The process was carried out in close coordination with the creative agency. Demner, Merlisic and Bergman (DMB.), who as the brand custodian was responsible for creating and populating the content.
