VOECKLABRUCK. Global lingerie and underwear manufacturer Hunkemöller opens its newest store in VARENA today, Friday 12 August. From now on, customers will find a variety of exclusive lingerie such as bras, panties, sleepwear, swimwear and sportswear as well as accessories and lingerie for special occasions on the ground floor. Hunkemöller also relies on sustainable collections and products.
“The addition to the lingerie department with the new Hunkemöller store is an attractive addition to VARENA’s existing product range. In addition to high-quality bodywear with the perfect fit, our customers also get the best service out there,” says Thomas Krötzl, Center Manager at VARENA. Hunkemöller has set itself the goal of exceeding the expectations of its customers and creating a special atmosphere when shopping: from a warm welcome to inspiring advice in the store and during installation. This is achieved through a combination of online and in-store training courses for employees, as well as training them to become experts in various fields.
The Dutch clothing company was founded in Amsterdam in 1886 as a specialty corset store and is now a multi-channel retailer with 900 branches and 6,200 employees in 19 countries. In addition to training its employees to become brand ambassadors, the company groups those activities under the name “Together Tomorrow” through which it promotes sustainability: whether it is transparency in the supply chain, diversity and equality or when it comes to reducing environmental pollution, which it does Hunkemöller with sustainable products and collections.
