The iCloud app for Windows users has been launched in a new version, it is now possible to access and sync passwords stored on your Mac or iPhone with iCloud under Windows. Of course, new passwords can also be saved and used with Mac or mobile operating systems.
We ignore how useful it is to save passwords online – Apple has been offering this functionality for a long time, but so far it has been limited to functionality in the Apple world, which of course limits the use of iCloud Keychain. Windows is used by many users and they are likely to use two password manager apps but one of them does not come from Apple.
The new password manager app allows users to access and manage their iCloud passwords on their Windows PC. You can add, edit, copy, paste, delete, or simply view all usernames and passwords stored in iCloud keychain. In addition to the iCloud account name, the associated password is also required. iCloud access is usually via two-factor authentication, so at least access is secured.
One iCloud for Windows To install, users need Windows 10 version 18362.145 or higher and Windows 10 version 18362.145 or higher.
We strongly advise against saving important passwords online – no matter where.
