Immortals of Aveum is a very promising magic shooter, but it won’t be released in July as planned. Manufacturers have now confirmed a delayed release date.
With Immortals of Aveum, Ascendant Studios has a promising shooter project in the works, which is often described as Call of Duty with magic. Anyone who has already decided on the address for the new July will be disappointed: nothing will come of it.
Instead, the manufacturers have now confirmed that the release date will unfortunately be pushed back again. The game has been so prominently represented recently, that there were new impressions in the form of videos at both Summer Game Fest on June 8th and before that at PlayStation Showcase on May 24th. However, apparently, no one wanted to know anything about the delay.
It was originally supposed to be July 20, but in a blog post on Tuesday, CEO and studio founder Brett Robbins announced a delay. As a result, the team is taking some extra time to further fine-tune the game and further optimize it for different platforms to ensure a solid and smooth launch.
“We owe it to ourselves and you guys to get this right,” Robbins said. What does that mean concretely? The waiting time for publication will be a month longer; On August 22, 2023, Immortals of Aveum will now be available for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
